SOCIAL AND FRIENDLY
WELCOMING AND LISTENING HOURS
Twice a week, the LGBTI Center offers reception and listening hours. These are 2.5 hour reception times, where people who wish can come and chat, find out about the association or simply share a coffee with other participants.
These meetings are intended for everyone, homosexual, bisexual, trans, intersex or simply questioning, as well as families and those around them.
The supervising volunteers are present to listen while respecting the individual, their anonymity and the confidentiality of the exchanges. In order to best manage these reception times, all volunteers are trained by professionals and have signed a commitment charter.
In 2018, the LGBTI Center received more than 1,600 visits during these hotlines.

BREAKFAST MEETING
Twice a month, the Centre LGBTI de Touraine organizes Breakfast Meetings. These are 2 hours on Saturday morning, from 10:30 a.m., dedicated to the theme of asylum seekers. With an English-speaking tendency, the Breakfast Meetings allow refugees to meet in order to discuss together, and to share their problems with volunteers.
